Ian spent his early years on the drag strip, starting in Junior Dragsters in 1999. He has since moved up to the Top Eliminator class, as well as many divisions of asphalt oval racing

Samantha's racing career got started through the Kids With Cancer Foundation. When she was 3 years old, she was started on treatment for a brain tumor. The Kids With Cancer Foundation took her to the race track for a night each year, where she could be around the drivers, sit in the cars, and watch the races. She has been cancer free for a number of years now, but that passion for racing stuck around. She has since been racing for 7 years, and is the premier driver of Admiraal Racing's drag racing program.
